The water analysis laboratory provides services for measuring physico-chemical and microbial parameters in water samples from various sources e. g. Irrigation water, aquaculture ponds, drinking water, wastewater and other water bodies.

Physicochemical Analysis

Measurement of parameters such as pH, electrical conductivity, hardness, alkalinity and the concentration of various ions.

Microbial Analysis

Identification and enumeration of indicator microorganisms for contamination such as coliforms and pathogenic bacteria.

Analysis of Biotoxins (Cyanotoxins)

It includes toxic substances produced by microorganisms, animals and certain plants e. g. Microcystin and Nodularin.

Analysis of Organic Pollutants and Heavy Metals

Measurement of Organic Compounds, Pesticides and Determination of Toxic Metals Concentrations such as Hg, Cd, Pb, Fe, , Cu, Mg and etc.
